「부산인디커넥트페스티벌 2024」 키비주얼 공개

- 10회를 맞아 더욱 특별해진 비주얼 선보여, 독보적 컨셉의 인디게임 축제 예고

부산광역시(시장 박형준)와 (재)부산정보산업진흥원(원장 김태열), (사)부산인디커넥트페스티벌조직위원회(조직위원장 서태건, 이하 BIC 조직위)가 2일 부산인디커넥트페스티벌 2024(이하 BIC 페스티벌) 키비주얼과 슬로건을 공개했다.

BIC 페스티벌 2024의 슬로건 ‘10G-IN TO YOUR INDIE SPIRIT’은 행사의 10회를 의미하는 ‘10’과 영어 ‘log-in’을 결합한 창의적인 표현으로, BIC 페스티벌을 통해 새로운 인디게임의 정신을 발견하고 그 속으로 깊이 접속해 보길 바라는 의미를 담고 있다.

올해 키비주얼은 BIC 페스티벌을 상징하는 광대한 인디게임의 우주인 유니버스인디(UNIVERSE-INDIE), 레이더에 포착된 인디스피릿(INDIE SPIRIT), 그리고 BIC 페스티벌로의 접속을 나태는 로그인 창을 순차적으로 배치하여 BIC 페스티벌과 함께 유니버스인디를 탐험하는 여정을 묘사했다. BIC 페스티벌의 정체성과 슬로건을 반영한 키비주얼을 통해 인디게임의 다양성과 창의성을 한층 더 느낄 수 있다.

인디게임의 우주, 유니버스인디를 가장 먼저 탐험할 수 있는 방법은 ‘빅커넥터즈’이다. 누구보다 빠르게 BIC 페스티벌 2024 선정작을 만나고, 어워드 투표의 기회를 얻을 수 있는 BIC 공식 인디게임 팬덤 ‘빅커넥터즈’는 5월 17일 18시까지 BIC 누리집에서 신청할 수 있다.

10회를 맞이하는 글로벌 인디게임 행사 ‘BIC 페스티벌’은 오는 8월 16일부터 18일까지 부산 벡스코에서 오프라인으로 진행된다. 온라인 전시는 8월 9일부터 30일까지 본 행사보다 연장하여 개최될 계획이다. 10회를 맞은 만큼 다양한 행사 프로그램으로 관객들을 맞이할 예정이다.

서태건 부산인디커넥트페스티벌 조직위원장은 “10회라는 특별한 숫자에 어울릴 수 있도록 더욱 특별한 느낌의 키비주얼을 공개하게 되었다.”며 “‘10G-IN TO YOUR INDIE SPIRIT’이라는 슬로건에 걸맞게 BIC 페스티벌에 참여하는 전 세계 모든 이들이 자신만의 인디스피릿을 로그인(log-in)하여 축제를 즐길 수 있길 바란다”고 말했다.

Park Heong-joon, the Mayor of Busan Metropolitan City, Kim Tae-yeol, the chairman of Busan IT industry Promotion Agency and Seo Tae-geon, the Chairman of Busan Indie Connect Festival Organizing Committee open the Key Visual and the slogan of the Busan Indie Connect Festival 2024 (hereinafter referred to as BIC Festival) to the public on the 2nd of this month.

The slogan of BIC Festival 2024 '10G-IN TO YOUR INDIE SPIRIT' is a creative expression that combines '10', which means the 10th edition of the event, and 'log-in,' We hope that you will discover the spirit of a new indie game and connect deeply to it through the BIC Festival.

This year's Key Visual depicted the journey of exploring UNIVERSE-INDIE with the BIC Festival by sequentially placing the log-in windows to the BIC Festival, 'UNIVERSE-INDIE' that symbolized the BIC Festival, and the radar-captured INDIE SPIRIT. You can feel the diversity and creativity of indie games more through this Key Visual that reflects the identity of the BIC Festival.

The first way to explore the universe of indie games, UNIVERSE-INDIE, is to become BIC's official indie game fandom ‘BIC Connecters.’ 

‘BIC Connecters,’ which can access the BIC Festival 2024 selection faster than anyone else and get a chance to vote for the award, can be applied on the BIC official website until 18:00 on May 17.

The BIC Festival, a global indie game event that celebrates its 10th edition, will be held offline in BEXCO, Busan, from August 16 to 18. The online exhibition is planned to be held from August 9th to 30th, longer than the main event. As it celebrates its 10th edition, it will delight its fans with various events and programs.

The chairman of the BIC Organizing Committee, Seo Taegeon said, "The key visual we released gave a more special feeling to match the special number of the 10th festival.” Adding, “I hope that everyone around the world who participates in the BIC Festival can 'log in' to their indie spirit to enjoy the festival in line under the slogan '10G-IN TO YOUR INDIE SPIRIT'.”
